Temple Craft and Baby Update!

I was asked to sub for the Sunbeam teacher in Primary the previous Sunday. The lesson was on, "Temples" and to my surprise, I only had ONE student and it was WILL!haha I was totally fine with that. Everyone was on vacation and visiting family and such. Will was still really excited to have me as his teacher so, that made me happy.

I decided to do a fun craft project after the lesson. All you need is: White Frosting(put in a couple of ziplock bags and when you are ready to use em, cut a small hole on the bottom corner for the frosting to come out easily), Nilla Wafers, tiny marshmallows and bowls. And then, you just do layers of frosting, wafers, frosting, marshmallow and so on! Will had a lot of fun with this and we were able to snack a bunch since we had a big supply with no one else to share it with!

It dried up and stood standing on our counter for a bit until finally I took these pics and tossed it out!

Baby Update:
I was leaving for Vegas the next day to visit my in-laws and niece and nephews! My sis-in-law, Aimee has tons of girls clothes to pass on to me IF I found out I was having a girl. So, it was great that my doc appt was the day before! I couldn't wait to finally confirm it since the last two ultrasounds were not very convincing...haha At 16 weeks, the doc told me it was a boy. At the next ultrasound (about 20-something weeks) the doc said, "I don't see any indication that this is a boy!" and after 20+ minutes of waiting for baby to cooperate, he gave up and said we'd try again next time.

This appt was supposed to be THE ONE! I walked in there thinking, "i am NOT leaving without a 100% confirmation that I am carrying either a boy or a girl!". WELL, the doc was WAY behind schedule that day. I was in the waiting room for about 45 mins and then brought to a room and waited for another 15 mins and by the time he seen me, he only had a few minutes before he had to get to surgery at the hospital! The ultrasound was super quick and while he looked, the baby was turned around looked away from us! We looked between the legs and the doc said, "That's unmistakably a scrotum. It has to be!" So I said, "okay so, 100% a boy then, right?!" and he said, "No, I would still say about 95%!"...lol ARG! It was NOT the answer I wanted. I wanted him to be sure by now. I left feeling pretty disappointed... O well, next appt, right?!

Not knowing is so hard, especially when you want to know. Hang in there!

PS Cute idea!
