We kicked off the day with an early breakfast put on by the fire station in Spring City! After, we watched the parade and they threw lots of candy out for the kids. They were thrilled! During the parade, they were shooting t-shirts out into the crowd and one landed right in Matt's face! He gave that one to his sister Aimee since it was her bday! But, another was shot in the same direction and landed right above Matt in the tree. He made it his mission to get it down. He started by throwing his flip-flops up in the tree to retrieve the shirt but, when they got stuck as well, he resorted to throwing a package of wipes up there until they got stuck too! He took a break until the parade was over and then decided to climb the tree. And He was barefoot! Needless to say, he made it all the way up and back with all of our stuff and the tshirt! He was great entertainment for the rest of the parade onlookers! When he finally got the shirt everyone around cheered for him. My husband, the monkey!

Later that afternoon, we returned for the fun kids carnival. We started off throwing a fast ball, then made it over to the bouncy pirate thingy, played some games and then off to eat some goodies!
They had a SNOWCREAM stand! Whenever we visit Gram and Papa, we also make a special trip to see Victoria(the woman who makes Snowcreams right in her home). Basically she has a machine that shaves ice into snow and then she adds ice cream and whatever flavoring you'd like to it(she has sooo many to choose from)! Sooo delicious.
Ben's face/hands and where ever else he spilt his cotton candy snowcream was blue for a couple of days(and we won't even talk about what his diapers looked like...oops, i guess i just did)!
Uncle Craig, Aunt Susan and Sophie joined in on the fun!
And so did Ross and Abby(Abby recently had jaw surgery but, that didn't spoil her fun! She was such a great sport about it. We love you Abby!)!
Nikki and I!
Later that night, we watched The Fat Professors. It was a fun band that covered classic rock songs. We were impressed and it was fun to listen and watch. They even sang Happy birthday to Aimee! She seemed pretty surprised.
Gram and Papa had a grand ole time. They're so cute! I love Gram's smile here.
Gram, Papa and Lyla!
Mom, Jake, Gram, Lyla and Papa!
